Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers That Are Making Waves
Golden Goose Deluxe Brand is something I’ve always admired. They were launched back in 2000 after the collaboration between Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo in Italy. Through the years, they have become a worldwide designer brand with boutiques all over the world, and it’s one that many fashion lovers are drawn to.
I’ve followed Golden Goose for ages and I would often check out the collection on FarFetch, as they always had an amazing selection, but I never ended up getting any because I always found them a bit pricey and resembled Converse too much, so they were always saved for later. A few years earlier, Adam was the one who was the early fan and he actually got his first pair of their Superstar sneakers last year, which was what made me pay more attention. Having seen his in person and noticing that no two pairs are alike because they’re handmade in Italy, I was even more curious. As the Golden Goose Superstar sneakers are intentionally aged and made to look used and abused, they are all hand done so they’re truly one-of-a-kind. Some have much more abrasions and dirt than others, so there’s a whole spectrum.
